Who we are
This website is run by TakeTheBrick, an independent online shop based in Newbury, Berkshire, UK. You can contact us at hello@takethebrick.com or through our contact page. By using this website or placing an order, you agree to these terms.
What we sell
We sell genuine LEGO® minifigures and sets, new and pre-loved. We never sell counterfeit, compatible or third-party bricks. TakeTheBrick is independent and is not affiliated with, sponsored or endorsed by the LEGO Group. LEGO® is a trademark of the LEGO Group.
Condition and descriptions
Every item is listed with one of four grades: New, Used - good, Used - worn or Used - part-built. Our condition guide explains each one. Anything specific to an item is written in its condition notes. Some listings use a reference photo rather than a photo of the exact item; the grade and condition notes describe the item you will receive. If you would like a photo of the actual item before you buy, just ask.
Prices and payment
Prices are in pounds sterling (GBP). We accept the payment methods shown at checkout. Your order is a contract once we confirm it by email. We take care to list prices and descriptions correctly, but if we find a mistake we will tell you before dispatch and you can choose to go ahead at the correct price or cancel for a full refund.
One-off stock
Most of our items are single pieces. If an item you ordered turns out to be unavailable, we will tell you as soon as we can and refund you in full.
Delivery
We deliver to UK addresses only, by Royal Mail. Our delivery charges, dispatch times and what to do about lost or late parcels are set out in our shipping policy.
Returns and refunds
You can cancel an order within 14 days of receiving it. Our refund policy explains how, including the rules for opened boxes and bags. If something is damaged, faulty or not as described, we will put it right at our cost. This does not affect your statutory rights under UK consumer law, including the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
Our responsibility to you
Nothing in these terms limits any right you have under UK consumer law, or our liability for anything that cannot legally be limited. Beyond that, we are not responsible for losses that were not a foreseeable result of us breaking these terms.
Intellectual property
The text, design and original photographs on this website belong to TakeTheBrick. LEGO® names, logos and product images belong to the LEGO Group. Please do not copy our content without asking first.

How we use your personal information is explained in our privacy policy.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The terms that apply to your order are the ones on this website when you placed it.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you may also bring a claim in the courts where you live.
